Gene Richard Moss, M.D.

Dr. Moss is a diplomate of The American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology (Psychiatry) and a former examiner for the Board. He has conducted both basic and applied research in behavioral science. After completing his specialty training at The University of Chicago, he served as Research Psychiatrist at The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C. He also has served on the medical faculties of Georgetown University, The University of California at Irvine, The University of California at Los Angeles, and The University of Southern California; has authored more than twenty publications; has served on the editorial boards of Behavior Therapy and Journal of Behavior Therapy & Experimental Psychiatry; has served as a reviewer for The American Journal of Psychiatry and The Archives of General Psychiatry; and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. In 1994, he authored the book, Healthcare Reform D.O.A., which received nominations for two national awards by the American Risk and Insurance Association.
